MPnL Solutions, Inc. Where most miss the mark!

Most lean consulting is formed around the thought process of an assembly line flow.  Truth is, very few of the processes out there are "true" assembly processes, rather they are batch processes.

MPnL realizes this and focuses on understanding the make-up of those batch processes:

  • By reducing their set up time, formatting a change-over wheel for best run sequence, reducing run size and ultimately reducing finished goods inventory.

  • By reducing your leadtime to the customer, understanding your raw material needs, implementing timed delivery routes and developing cellular manufacturing where needed.

  • By installing FLOW from your pacemaker process and utilizing First-In-First-Out (FIFO) through the value stream thereby reducing unneeded Work-In-Process (WIP).  No more not knowing how much inventory is sitting in your facility, but rather knowing exactly where every item is and how much is needed to support the down stream process.

Using the PFEP will allow your organization to dynamically plan these processes.  No more chasing what the MRP system is forecasting, but actually having a handle on the management of your inventory.
